#DrEric wants you to know that 55% of adults over 50 years of age have some form of #osteoporosis or #osteopenia😱

To help prevent #boneloss be sure you are eating plenty of both green leafy 🌱and cruciferous🥦vegetables as they are high in not only #calcium, but also #magnesium and #VitaminK 

 

(Calcium alone doesn’t build bone! 🤔Your body needs a combination of ALL of these to do the job).

It is also important that you get enough #VitaminD from either sun exposure☀️or supplements, so that your bones can properly absorb these #nutrients.

Weight bearing exercise is likewise essential for #bonehealth because bones develop specifically as a response to gravity🌎
